This policy applies at all four of our locations:South Plainfield · Irvington · Highland Park · Middlesex
Your eyeglasses and contact lenses are custom made to your exact prescription and
measurements and therefore there will be no refunds on any of these items purchased
from Eyeglass USA. What we do offer is the limited warranty below, and it is the
same at every store.
We offer a limited warranty in the following instances:

Your prescription changes
If your eye doctor changes your prescription within thirty (30) days of purchase we will change the lenses to the updated prescription.

Scratch-resistant lens damage
If damage occurs to a lens purchased with scratch resistance, i.e., polycarbonate, anti-reflective, or transitions, within one (1) year of purchase we will replace the lens. There will be a twenty-five dollar ($25) handling fee to do so.

You change frames within 30 days
If you decide to change frames within thirty (30) days of pick up, there will be a fifty dollar ($50) restocking fee to do so. Should the lens therefore also need to be changed there will be an additional twenty-five dollar ($25) fee.

Manufacturer defect on frames
Frames will be replaced one (1) time within one (1) year of purchase due to manufacturer defect only. There will be a twenty-five dollar ($25) handling fee to do so. If your frame is unavailable for replacement or repair due to the manufacturer discontinuing said frame we will replace it with a frame of equal or lesser value assuming we can find a frame into which your current lenses fit.

Contact lens exchanges
Contact lenses are not eligible for exchange for any reason if there is any damage to the box or if the box is opened.

Eyeglass USA offers free adjustments and repairs to glasses for as long as you own them, at any of our stores. For glasses not purchased at Eyeglass USA this service is at your own risk and we cannot be responsible for any damage or breakage that may occur to said frames or lenses.
Outside prescriptions
Outside prescriptions with a valid expiration date are welcome!
Insurance claims
Once a claim has been submitted through any insurance, we are not able to reverse said claim due to insurance carrier policies.
